9th Annual Community Olive Harvest October 2026
Harvest 2026 is FINISHED! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who came out to help in this year's olive harvest. A total of about 60 people of all ages came to help. Any many of you came back again another day, or three. Everyone got to experience what it takes to be an olive farmer for a day and how the olives get from the tree to the Olive Mill, where the olives are processed into oil. All the hard work and care that goes into making clean extra virgin olive oil. The olives were coming off the trees all day long and kept us all very busy. Also, a shout-out to a large group from the Destiny Homeschool Co-Op and Bloom Where You Are Planted Beale Homeschool Co-Op came and helped us clean up our large nets and get them ready for next year. A job that requires many hands. Great job kids and Moms! Our yield this year is 13.6 TONS of olives! MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2027 COMMUNITY HARVEST IS LISTED BELOW:
Calling out to all you wonderful volunteers that love the outdoors and don't mind getting a little dirty. We LOVE to have you help, and are grateful for any time that you are available. In the past, we have had many volunteers that literally "saved the day" of harvest and helped us to get the olives all picked. There are several different tasks to do, at different ability levels, so come and see where you fit in to help. This is a family friendly event, bring your family and friends to have a fun outing in the olive grove and be one with nature. Children are welcome as long as they stay with you and don't step on the olives ;). Sorry, no pets (they do step on the olives). If you love olive oil like we do, this is a wonderful way to get to know us, your local olive farmers, and see how it all works. No one goes home hungry, or empty handed. Lunch will be served and a gift for volunteering :) We look forward to hearing from you.

TIME: 7am-5pm In an effort to have things run smoothly and efficiently we will try to schedule you when you can come, but at the same time, not have too many people all at once, or not enough.

WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable closed toe'd shoes and hat. Optional: Sunglasses and thin gloves (so you can feel the olives in your fingers when picking)

2025 COMMUNITY HARVEST
To our Volunteers: We are extremely grateful for your kindness and time! ALOT of you come back again and again to help out. Every October we welcome volunteers to help us harvest the olives. 94 volunteers in 2025! You get to KNOW where your olive oil comes from and be a part of the making of it. This is a fun event to enjoy the outdoors with your family and friends, and get to know us, your olive farmers,
